What is a retreat?

Participating in a retreat under the guidance of an experienced teacher is a very good way to realize and enhance your physical, mental and spiritual limitations and capabilities which we seldom give attention to.  

In daily life, we are so preoccupied with our mental activities, achieving aims and goals, paying bills, making arrangements, etc... that we don’t give attention to bringing the mind, body and spirit into balance.  In a retreat, we are isolated from these worldly obligations and are able to listen to our mind, body and soul in complete synchronicity.
